mATX case for my new ryzen build

dixidou

But the issue is that it's not possible to buy only the case, so ... i asking you if you know pc case like this model (available in UE).

The Inwin 301 case hasn't a very good air flow also with a watercooling stuff, but this is the size that i hope. This phanteks is simply amazing but a little bit expensiv (and i think if i don't fine any case i will choose it).

But have you any other idea ?

Quote or @Damascus tag in the future so people see you.  If the Phanteks is too expensive for you I really doubt there are any options you'd find affordable.  There are a few that go for $500+ you'd like

@Damascus i underdstand ;) in fact the in win 301 is perfect but some reviews had showed that the temperature is hot inside when the gpu and cpu work hard :/

so it's not just a problem with the price ... there is also the dimensions of the phanteks case. I need to move it because i need to move for my job. So i chearch a case witch is pretty small, with a window and with 3 expansion slot minimum.

For that I'd suggest a hybrid GPU and a 240mm rad with good intake fans on the bottom

lol, oops.  If it wasn't for the expansion slots needed I'd say go ITX.  The first X370 ITX just launched too.

It's actually a really pretty case, too bad thermals on it really won't be the best...

Yeah, I'm looking at moving to an Inwin 301 from a node 202 so I probably shouldn't advise anyone on cases with good temps

How about this?

at the end there is a small test about temps and cpu can reach 75°C in a benchmarck test

Merk, I have no idea how good or bad that is for a haswell i5 at 4.5Ghz.  My CPU (6700K 4.3Ghz) currently goes up to about 70-80c on stress and as its just an H60 I'll plug it right onto the best airflow portion of the case So I doubt I'll see any changes

Moreover this results was with a watercooling installation.

You are right about this. I don't know exactly what could happend with the ryzen 1600. Moreover i plane to let it in aircooling a few moment until to intal a watercooling kit

Yeah, I'll be running a 1700 so I'm not worried about temps

I don't have it yet.  Ryzen just doesn't make a lot of heat (1600 and 1700 are both 65w) versus the 95w of that i5.  take like 30c off that temp for the i5 basically

when you overclock it it becomes a 95w lolololol (heat/thermal output/tdp)

Ok i see...

So what do you think about the airflow of the in win 301 ?

The case is quite messy with the space for the cable management...

And what happens when you OC a 95w CPU???  omg by that logic it goes from a 95w cpu to a 125w cpu...  He has an aggressive clock on there

Hmm ok, i hesitate between the phanteks and the 301...

They looks greate together but the phanteks might be better for the cooling

So thanks you everyone for your help :)

You are the best ;)
