nVidia GT 610 (1GB) sufficient for remote desktop applications or should I upgrade?

Not sure if that answers the question...I've been instructed on how to ping the remote server in the thread I opened previously to ask about basic spec and troubleshooting:

Oh okay...no, it's remote...It's connecting to a server somewhere else entirely...it's for someone working from home for a company with their own I.T. department.

That's it then. It is probably about the best you can get it.

I guess so. I'm looking at getting the broadband package upgraded to a faster connection, so hopefully that might make a bit of a difference, but yeah...I think that's more or less the most I can do with it from this end.

What is the current connection speed? My servers ran fine with a 5Mbps upload (I don't know how, but they did) speed for a long time.

I pinged the server several times and it gave me this result:

Minimum = 0ms, Maximum = 1ms, Average = 0ms

...although, looking at it, I just get the feeling it's an odd result...but that's what I'm getting.
