front USB and disk drive combination

Is there a front i/o cd/rom drive and usb/sd in one? like one of those usb hubs that go in a cd drive slot/ but it has the drive plus usb ports. Does this thing exist?

Yes something like that, but for $30 i'd at least wish it came with a drive in it. also maybe an sd card slot

buy an external drive. I got a dvd 8X writer for like $29 Australian peso's.....it is usb 2. I know it's handy but living without a drive bay isn't that bad these days!

 

Anything else I'd suspect will operate over the usual format!
