FIRST GAMING RIG BUILD, GRAPHICS CARD RECOMMENDATIONS NEEDED

joshlgillespie

Hi, im currently planning my first ever gaming PC build, i have the majority of my specs set out, however I cannot decide on a graphics card for the build. Any suggestions on something priced around £200 (UK)? My current spec is as follows;

CPU - Intel i5-7600k

Motherboard - ASUS Z270-P

PSU - 650W Modular Corsair

RAM - 2x 8GB Corsair Vengeance

SSD - Samsung Evo 500GB

Any other suggestions on anything other than a graphics card would also be welcomed!

I'd recommend switching the 7600k for a ryzen 1600/1600x

For the graphics card RX 480/580 for 1080p/60hz or 1070 for 1080p/144hz/1440p/60hz

edit: just saw the part about the 200 budget so 1070 won't fit.

The name for the old one was Titan X, but there was already a card called Titan X that was based on the older Maxwell architecture. To tell the difference between those two, many tech sites went with a unofficial name of Titan XP, where P stands for Pascal. Nvidia's official name for the pascal version of Titan X is called Titan X (Pascal). This new one from Nvidia is Titan Xp.

Titan X = Maxwell

Titan X (Pascal), unofficial name = Titan XP

Titan Xp, new current gpu.

Didn't know if the SS is SATA or M.2, but the M.2 one is an ugly green, so I went with the SATA.

RMx PSU since it's awesome and modular

Sapphire RX580 because Sapphire makes great cards and the !060 6GB has less VRAM.

CPU cooler: just slapped on on, since I don't know what you prefer.
