hi guys..

Long story short

When I dun CPU and FPU stress test, it works fine. However, when running either cache or system memory or both at the same time, I get hardware failure right away.

What is the problem - do I need to change my RAM (please no if possible)

what could cause cache failure?

somebody help.. I think my games are crashing because of this. It's getting worse..

is your RAM at stock settings or do you have XMP enabled? I had similar problems with mine and it was the timings were not very well liked by my RAM and had to tighten them up and dial them in manually to get it to stabilize.

@MageTank and @done12many2 helped me tremendously with this endeavor as I had only ever used XMP and set it and forget it. Here is a look from my thread when I was having the problems with it if you want to try some of the tips they suggested to me.

You're a life savior! I folowed what the guy said and not only learned alot of new things, but I also managed to eliminate RAM errors.. Turns out it couldn't achieve the speed it was advertised it could.. So I lowered it rather than increasing the voltage.. I'm running 2666mhz now.. 3000mhz isn't quite there, even after loosening the timings a bit. I'm just happy it works. Was getting game crashes all over the place.. Aida64 failures and memtest86 errors.. I'm glad it's over.

Thank you soo much. I learned a shit ton of new stuff man, I'm really happy.
