and what about hte windwos10upgrade folder?

That im not sure, disk cleanup as zMeul suggest is probably the risk free way of removing things so that you make sure you remove things that you do not need and not things that might cause system instability :D.

Windows folders in C:\ are:

  • PerfLogs
  • Program Files
  • Program Files (x86)
  • Users
  • Windows
  • Program Data [Hidden]
  • System Volume Information [Hidden]
  • Config.Msi [Hidden]
  • $Recycle.Bin [Hidden]

And Windows files in C:\ are:

  • bootmgr [Hidden]
  • BOOTNXT [Hidden]
  • pagefile.sys [Hidden]
  • swapfile.sys [Hidden]
  • hibernation.sys [Hidden]

The rest if your stuff and can be deleted, if you don't want them anymore. NVIDIA folder, if you wonder, doesn't contain anything beside setup temp files.

You can delete it as well.

As mentioned, you need to use Windows Disk Cleanup utility to clean those.

In Windows search box, type: Cleanup, and you'll see "Disk Cleanup" entry show up in the list. Click on it.

It will ask you which disk you want to clean up. Pick C: and click on OK.

It will do a scan, and you'll see this after:

Click on Clean up system files, button circle in red above.

Then it run the disk utility as elevated credentials, and so it will repeat the process. Do so, but after the scan, you'll see this:

Check all boxes in the list, and click on OK, it will then cleanup everything, including Windows.OLD
