everything here will fit the 460x but just get the case you prefer the looks of, take a look at the hardware cannucs youtube chanel for some amazing case reviews :)

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

I would recommend you never get a founder edition card, try upgrading it to maybe the gigabyte 1080, asus strix model, or zotac. Anything but the reference model gtx 1080 ti.

Cool :) use @stealth80's build but take the HDD from my list.

EDIT: If budget is no issue get crosshair or taichi they are the top motherboards. Sorry didn't see he'd changed the mobo :P

i'd already changed the HDD, I edited that the same as I added the info about the IPS version of the Asus RoG swift monitor :)

changed the ssd for the crucial mx 300: still great, a little bit larger and cheaper (30$) and spent that money on the aorus gtx 1080ti, that cost just 15$ more but is  the best gtx 1080ti out there, is a true beast

imho is not worth the price premium over a normal ssd, you are almost doubling the price/gb, for a 20% increasing in performance at most. The scenarios where the 960 will be really faster are so small that is not worth it, especially because you can get a sata ssd with twice as much storage, and that will make the difference against storing your data in the HDD

another question, are you into competitive gaming or more into video editing and work on your pc? Because the monitor you choose is great for gaming and good for content creation, but if you do more work stuff and not competitive gaming you might give a shot at the 21:9 monitors, that are amazing

Edit: So i guess the answer is video editing?

it depends on what you want  to do, 21:9 gaming and content creation/watching movies is amazing, but if you want buttery smooth games the aoc you choose is a great monitor
