Ripjaws V or Flare X 3200mhz for Ryzen?

What ram can hit high frequencies on an Asus X370 pro with an r7 1700?

The Ripjaws V currently cost 130€ for 16gb while the flare x cost 200€.

Will the flare x drop in price?

thanks in advance!

The FlareX's will be more likely to reach that speed. With that said I went with 2400mhz FlareX's because with a midrange graphics card faster ram is negligible.

I have Ripjaws V 3200 MHz DIMMs, but I can only get them stable at 2400 MHz on my Asus B350 Prime Plus mobo. Granted, I'm only using the XMP profile using Asus's translation of it (DOCP), and just lowering the frequency until it runs. So I haven't done any manual tinkering.

Current Build:

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X3D

GPU: RTX 3080 Ti FE

RAM: 32GB G.Skill Trident Z CL16 3200 MHz

Mobo: Asus Tuf X570 Plus Wifi

CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X53

PSU: EVGA G6 Supernova 850

Case: NZXT S340 Elite

Current Laptop:

Model: Asus ROG Zephyrus G14

CPU: Ryzen 9 5900HS

GPU: RTX 3060

RAM: 16GB @3200 MHz

Old PC:

CPU: Intel i7 8700K @4.9 GHz/1.315v

RAM: 32GB G.Skill Trident Z CL16 3200 MHz

Mobo: Asus Prime Z370-A
