Eh.

 

Not in most games. 

 

For the rest of them, just OC and you'll be fine.

No. However in CPU heavy games, the i5 may bottleneck

Going with the Locked i7 7700 on a b250 would prove to be a much better cost-to-performance than the i5 7600k.
