Tiny Beast

mnm0710

Just something a little different than the gaming and video editing builds that's on here.  This is a compute workstation (for those of you who know, CFD, FEA and other engineering analysis) that I built for work

It looks tiny here

But when you look inside..

Haha I'll post some pics when i get back to the office next week.  And there will actually be a second workstation in my office ;) Also pretty beastly but not quite as this one I'd say.

I'll post pics of both and my setup

That's neat.

This system really shows how the case and overall aesthetics can be so misleading at times.

What the hell do you do with this thing? Render 1 meter/pixel satellite photos?

If it can mean anything to anybody at any time, it means nothing.

Probably the highest end system I saw on the forum so far   :o  What are you doing with it?

This is a compute workstation (for those of you who know, CFD, FEA and other engineering analysis) that I built for work

CFD=computational fluid dynamics

FEA=finite element analysis

At least AFAIK. So, engineering computations.
