Data and Applications migration to a new drive

Hi, i have a laptop with 120gb m.2 sata ssd as os(:C) and a 500gb 5400rpm slow toshiba hdd(:D) as secondary drive.

The old drives often cause fps spikes in open world games(GTAV) and sometimes in NFS2015 the world just went black because of the slow read speeds. (i guess?)

I want to get the seagate firecuda drive to replace the slow secondary drive.

Q1. will changing it to the firecuda sshd can help me? (for all the shutters)

Q2. If I get the firecuda and a external 2.5" enclosure bay, how do I clone the old drive to new drive? I have lots of programs and application in that (:D) drive. I dont think I can just copy and paste it.

Just get a WB blue or a regular barracuda.

The SSHD is only good for windows and you wont see any performance improvements in games.

EaseUS is free and can be used to transfer the files over.

But is barracuda faster than the stock drive in terms of reading speed?

My barracuda averages about 200MB/s read(megabytes, not bits). it runs GTA V smoothly w/o stutter.

of course its 7200RPM so try to grab a drive that is that speed
