Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 650, good budget Graphics card???

Britanian

Hi I was wondering if this was a reasonable gpu for the price, all I want from this gpu is to play most games on atleast medium. Would this be cabable of that.

Gigabyte Nvidia GTX650 1gb ddr5 .....................................£80

If this is not suitable does anyone have any suggestions on a good gpu (preferbaly Nvidia) for under £100.

It's not bad, but the AMD equivalent is better. Go for a 7770

I actually have a 2GB version of this card, and it runs great and performs well.

But everyone's going to scream at us to save your money, so listen to everybody else and get an AMD card.

I will post some 650 and 7770* benchmark results in a second. *Never mind, didn't save them.

But I agree with my predecessors. With AMD you get a more powerful card for the same or less money.

If you don't insist on adaptive vsync or maybe even gsync, I suggest you to buy AMD.

Brit,

For the low price point, you'll get the best bang for your buck with AMD.

No, the 650 can't run anything get at least a 650ti or 7790

It will run any game at 1920x1080p just fine. The only restriction with that is the level of detail, that can be enabled, to provide your target framerate.
