Please Insert a Disk into Drive Error

Bkriks

Whenever I plug in a USB drive, it gives me the Please Insert a Disk into Drive Error.

Do any of you know how to fix it? I've tried cleaning it in CMD with diskpart, but nothing happens.

If you plugged in ONLY that USB drive and each time it gave you please insert a disk, it means that your USB Drive is broken, friend, faulty etc.

If it's a flash drive you can assume it's dead. Iv burnt enough flash drives I don't bother buying them anymore. The Samsung sd cards I put into my cellphone do a much better job

OK. Thanks. It's kinda vital that these drives work, they used to work on my mac before I switched to Windows. I reformatted the drives, I've used CMD to clean the drives, I tried giving them new drive letters, updating the drivers... And this issue happens across several drives (2x 16GB and one 1GB). But thanks anyway for your help.
