How's it going everyone?

I know this topic has been overdone but I'm really losing my mind on Mobile Workstations vs Laptops, Windows vs Macs, blah blah blah, and I need some help.

I'm looking for a Laptop/WS for Photoshops, and that sort of thing. So: BIG resolutions, fast cpu's, ssd, 16+gb's of ram, and all those good things, under 1600€ (edit)

No one likes a heavy laptop so let's try to put things under the 2.5kgs tops.

I've put my eyes on the Asus ROG G501VW (https://www.asus.com/pt/ROG-Republic-Of-Gamers/ROG-G501VW/).

But then I noticed something called "Mobile Workstations" on MSI's website. Well, I dont know how to feel about these machines. Are they all (not just MSI's but other brands) way too expensive for the 1600€ budget or are there models that fit my needs?

Thank you, so much <3

XPS 15?

Make sure to quote me or tag me when responding to me, or I might not know you replied! Examples:

Do this:

And make sure you do it by hitting the quote button at the bottom left of my post, and not the one inside the editor!

@DocSwag

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

I would probably also say the Dell XPS 15.

But if you have a tad more money and also want to do some gaming I would take the Razer Blade Stealth.

As you can connect it to an external GPU (I know it's gonna get more expensive) but it will "future proof" you a bit more.

yeah Razer looks good but its like Apple: overpriced and lower performance than competition. I also think they use not the best quality for the hardware.

It's way worse than Apple. Apple is best-in-class for customer support and software. Razer is dogshit in both and uses shit components that are ment to fail under high heat.
