When I bought my Titan X MaxwellI still had a 1680x1050p60hz monitor :P

But I already owned the monitor, didn't buy for it and later upgraded to the 2560x1080p80hz so all good [:

My logic behind some of the compromises :

-cooler : better than H212 , yet only slightly more expensive

-RAM: 8gb is still plenty for most games today . The cost savings were considerable when compared to 16gb , and it's easy to add more down the line.

-SSD : I know 128gb isn't enough for much more than the OS , but it should provide a decent speedup for boot times and better responsivness . Plus it's NVME ( which wasn't more expensive than sata btw )

-Case : doesn't look bad imo . Functionnal , and allows for basic expandibilty and cable management , while still being better than the bargain basement offerings.

-OS : you can get a key off G2A for 30$ instead of buying retail

I know, the psu isn't the best , but it's decent . The cx750M is actually a rebranded GS/CS series , and the gen 2 ones are quite good .Plus , i own the unit . It delivers.

AMD Ryzen R7 1700 (3.8ghz) w/ NH-D14, EVGA RTX 2080 XC (stock), 4*4GB DDR4 3000MT/s RAM, Gigabyte AB350-Gaming-3 MB, CX750M PSU, 1.5TB SDD + 7TB HDD, Phanteks enthoo pro case

This is actually decent OP, not sure about the cooler and something is playing on my mind about that m.2 SSD (cant remember what) but, 7700k and 1080ti with a much better monitor. I would probably drop that PSU and get the Silverstone I linked

This looks good but i'm not planning on overlocking so I wont need the 7700K and then I wont need such a good cooler

Well the main benefit over the 7700 is the extra 600mhz  , while not being more expensive . You could get the 212 and save a few bucks if you want.

OP doesn't need OC , so he could easily swap it out for a 212 evo .

The 600p did suffer from low iops ( for an nvme offering ) last time i checked , an it might have some heat issues , but it can be switched out for a sata 3 drive if op wants . They were about the same in price.
