Final Thoughts On Build Before Purchase

Hey folks, I just want some final thoughts on this build before biting the bullet since it will technically be my first. I don't have a PCPartPicker list, but I do have a screenshot of my Amazon cart. The CPU will be an R5-1600X (purchasing that from Newegg since the price is better there; doing Amazon on everything else because of Prime shipping). The S340 Elite is somewhat superfluous, but I'd rather have the tempered glass window instead of plastic.

take a look at the p400 tempered glass, integrated LED lighting for around the same or less. I'd get a better PSU, the B1 is mediocre.

Can you suggest a PSU that can support all of that plus a 1070, but within $70, that passes the LTT community approval test

Get the 1600 instead, and then OC it.

EVGA G2 650W is a good power supply.

Looks good, I'd say (like most others here) just spring a little bit for a G2 supernova, much better.

I can just barely afford the 650 Watt G2 Supernova. 650 should be enough for this, I assume?

650 is plenty..

If you cant afford the G2, just buy the seasonic unit..?

Yeah 650 is good, I would think this system wouldn't make any more than about 400W (?) 

 

Seasonic would work as well. I personnaly prefer the G2 with the fully modular capability and 80+ Gold.
