Hey Guys

I just picked up a new 780 Ti from zotac, I am having some oc problems with it, i have am only getting a boost clock of 1220 on it right now on default voltages, the temp is around 85 degrees. What am i doing wrong, all i did was i put the power target at 106 percent and chose +225 on gpu clock offset and made the temps priorities. Do i just have a bum card :(. Additionally ASCi rating is only 69.3 percent on this thing, should I try to get another one?

I would call that a pretty good oc to be honest. 1220 Mhz.

Not all cars are very overclockable instead of saying its bad say its normal

Why do you need to overclock it? It's overkill GPU itself, even without OC.

I'd say thats a pretty good overclock. Not to mention its a zotac, isnt that about the cheapest card you can buy. I think your expectations might have been alittle high. I'd be happy though, its a good card, and good overclock. It could be worse, you caps could have exploded, or it could have been doa, or artifacting like crazy. Enjoy your card :)

Yeah I am reading its very hard to get one that is 1300 on stock, my friend just bought 2 for his sli. they are both doing 1300 on air with no tweaking to voltages. I think i can haggle one off him as he only plays with stock hardware. I am very picky about my hardware lol, my current cpu i went through 4 of them until i found one that can do 4.1 on low voltages

Depends what res he's play at. It's not overkill at 1440P if you're playing games like Crysis 3, Tomb Raider, BF4 etc...
