I have a question about how Linus gets all these stuff.

Linus Tech Tips is probably my favourite Youtube channel. Not tech channel. My favourite on the entire YouTube. I am saying this so you wont thing I am hating or anything. But somethings doesnt make sense to me so I wanted to ask.

LinusTechTips isnt in the top 50 most subscribed channels. It isnt even in the top 10 tech channels. So how exactly is he able to get sponsors give him so extravagant expensive and over the top gear almost daily? I mean the petapyte server the dozens of hdds and ssds etc etc.

I am just asking so to know a few more things. Is Linus Media doing other stuff other than Youtube and I dont know it?

I know this is for review samples, but the point still stands. Linus gets a product (or a whack ton) and it gets featured on the channel. It's not even a formal review, but Linus announced those drives he is using as very reliable. Great marketing for Seagate.

45Drives also gets a big spot in the videos, because of their sponsorship of this project.

Also, they are probably like top 10 of most subscribed technology YouTube channels. At least the ones that focus most on tech.

They are close to 4 million subscribers, have over a billion total views and 3651 videos (which means they have 286.043 views per video).

They have a huge channel which big companies like Seagate and 45Drives, Nvidia, Intel and whoever wants to sponsor.

LTT is #7 in most viewed. I guess the sponsors don't really care about subs (why would they?), views are more important

LTT is number 790 in terms of views. Not bad, but far from number 7.

Maybe number 7 in Canada or something.
