Motherboard problem

So, I just got a old motherboard. It works ok until you try to set the time. Every time you set the time I hear a beep and then it's starts from the beginning. After that, it restarts, opens, and then after 10 minutes restarts, and again and again...

What can it be ?

Is it only when you set the time? Other settings are stored in the same location as the current time and are saved only because of the CMOS battery, so if the battery were the issue I would think changing any setting would cause it to do this as well.

Well, it resets anyway, even if i dont do anything.

Ya definitely a cmos issue
