It seems not. It's real. Pretty hilarious if you asked me, but April Fools was 5 days ago so it's real.

Make sure to quote me or tag me when responding to me, or I might not know you replied! Examples:

And make sure you do it by hitting the quote button at the bottom left of my post, and not the one inside the editor!

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

They realised that the Titan X (Pascal) (the one released in 2016 - Jesus, get your bloody naming schemes together nvidia) was basically made obsolete by the 1080ti so they decided to launch a new Titan because there always has to be a Titan that's better than everything else apparently.

This whole thing seems a bit stupid to me... and I am saying that as a Titan X (Maxwell) owner myself

I also believe that as new chips came out for Pascal since release, the original X-16 used the GP-102-400-A1 whereas the Xp uses the full GP-102. This could be explained by the fact that Nvidia has an excess of GP-102 chips (otherwise used for the Quadros which have moved to the GP-101 and GP-100).
