That's really good advice, the FX 8320 will be more than enough and if you OC it will be equal to the FX 8350. It's always better to have a decent CPU and a beefier graphics card, not that your CPU would be decent, the 8320 is top of the line! Get the 7970!

There's a good chance you'd be saving a couple of bucks with the 8320 but to how far you can get with the OC is a matter of luck, depending on which exact chip you get. The older R7xxx cards are great value still given the drop in prices (depending on where you live) and at that price point, it's a better option than one of the 270x cards.

The 8320 is pretty much guaranteed to get 4Ghz, it won't do it at the same amount of watts as the 8350 but it'll get there, depending on how lucky you get too you could push it to 4.5 or 5 (Mine does 5 at 1.5v)

If there is not already a non-stock cooler in the build, a good portion of what would be saved by using the 8320 will go into getting a good enough cooler to overclock back to the 8350. Add to that the fact the overclock one gets is always part luck of the draw. There is no guaranty or even certainty that a good overclock will be achievable.

The 8320 has a turbo of 4Ghz, getting that as the constant will be very easy. If you're lazy just see what voltage it's running at in CPU-Z when it's turboing and set that in your BIOS.

What i might do it get the 8320 OC it then get a MSI 280X

that sound good?

This is a great choice. You could also get a 7970 Ghz as it is a rebrand of the 280X.
