What program to record games?

Im currently using msi afterburner but I noticed for some reason i'm getting significantly low fps when recording game. I mean i can still play the game(league),but if I would like to record another game i'm afraid i wont be able to.

And also what program do I use to optimize videos because a 20 minute game was about 20gb, which I dont think is normal. IS it?

I have an i5 6500 and an Rx470 btw.

If you have an Nvidia GPU use Shadowplay that is built into GeForce Experience.

Have you tried recording at a lower bitrate?

Bandicam, fraps, shadowplay, obs, etc... are all recording programs.

Use Handbrake to compress it

Open Broadcaster is another good alternative, especially if you want to stream at some point.

OBS and then record at about 3K bitrate as YouTube doesn't store high quality. 

 

PS stop surrendering in LoL. 20 minute games are all surrenders haha.
