Good ssd under 30 $

Don't spend 30 dollars on one. It'll self destruct and delete everything. Mine 2 hours in nuked itself and the drive couldn't be read by anything. Try and save up 50-60 dollars and get yourself a decent entry ssd

yeah like ^he said ssd's don't cost that kind of money. they aren't expensive but you shouldn't get one that's only 60GB

i agree with @Jskn although i don't know how your ssd dies 2 hours into using it but you probably can't get anything over 32gb for that price and for just $50 you could get a 120gb ssd

no don't get second hand or refurbished SSDs there is a very likely chance that the most of the write cycles have been used already either when formating the drive or just by the use it was getting

Honestly, that looks stupid.  SD cards have a much higher rate of failure than even an entry level SSD.  Since that's setup as Raid...1 card fails, all data is lost.  Besides, $24 for that adapter plus the cost of 10 microSD cards...way more than an MX100 SSD.

With cex you still get a 2 year warranty and they tend to be pretty good about it. But I will admit getting one of eBay is a stupid idea.

I currently use this in my desktop, no problems in a year.

 

I have a Crucial MX500 in my laptop since 2014, no issues thus far, but that one was more like $70...and isn't available anymore, not sure what the replacement model is.

 

Just save up for a bit longer until you can get one of these.
