I have a laptop that i bought for a cheap price and the hard drive is only 500 gb. I was looking for and ssd but they were expensive until i found the wd black squared is it worth it or is there another dual drive?

Just get a ssd. There not that expensive these days and cheaper than the black 2

high storage space SSDs are still pretty darn pricy compared to hard drives, especially when "cheap laptop"

the laptop is worth 1000 but bought it for 500

A 1.1TB MX300 is $286, the 1.12TB Black 2 is $287.

Go with pure SSD.

I own a black2.  Get a SSD, the black2 has so many unfixed issues that it isn't worth it
