500$ us. PC Only gaming rig

Trainable

Looking to build a computer to play a specific game called Squad. This will be my first computer build and first time playing any pc game. I would like to keep it as budget as possible with ability to upgrade if I decide that pc gaming is for me. Either way it will be used for something. So around 500 usd for desktop not including peripherals.

SQUAD IS MY SHIT!!!!! my man, it is so good, my specs im able to play this at absolute maxed out settings completely but my build was like $1500 at the time, im at work right now but i will try to put something together for your $ range, but that is definitely onh the low side lol

you can play the game with a cheap fx processor long as you keep your expectations in check. its a poorly optimized game that doesn't take advantage of all resources.

well you wont be reaching recomended with $500

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Cool, here's a build for you. You should run Windows 10 deactivated for a bit, it won't nag you about getting a key and you can download it from Microsoft without a license (go figure MS).

 

That way you can have a better computer :)

Some Universities and schools give out educational windows 10 license he can go for that.

Thank you all for your inputs. I can go higher but its a compromise with the wife. The more I spend on the pc the more expensive sewing machine I have to buy for her. So I can go higher. Every time I try to price list my self I go way overboard without knowing If it would add anything to the enjoyment to the game. So to put it all together the closer to 500 the better, but if there are significant gains for a couple hundred more I'm down with the clown as the cool kids would say.
