So I just noted that Galaxy S8 has more Dpi screen and has everything same as S8 plus (excluding size).

And I don't think paying more for just 500 more mAh and more size worth it.

So I was waiting around to buy S8, should I go for S8 or Plus??

Please mention if I'm missing anything.

Same for ryzen.. just wait for reviews and battery tests it could have any issues

Edit: also depends if you are getting snapdragon or exynos, as the 835 will more than likely be more non efficient extra battery life will greatly help

If the larger battery and larger screen don't matter to you, go for the S8. Don't even take the DPI into account, it doesn't matter with 1440p on such a small screen (both are very small screens for 1440p, you won't be able to see any difference in terms of sharpness).

S8 will obviously be cheaper but seems to be the same internal spec besides the battery, so there's not really a trade off that I can see if the battery and screen size don't matter to you.

EDIT: Would still advise waiting until more is known and there are reviews though. There are some issues that cannot be seen from specs alone.

I agree on that with both of you, reviews would still matter and I'll be waiting for them.

But I've never seen a significant difference in edge series in the past, so hoping that there'll be not a much of a difference in the both s8 and s8 plus.

Also, S8 and S8 plus both looks identical, unlike iPhone 7 v/s 7 plus where then 7 looks shit in front of plus.

And they both do look shit in front of s8, gotta agree on that..

I wouldn't mind the removal of the headphone jack if they used a standard port like USB type C instead of their proprietary port.

I'm in sort of the same boat, I upgraded to the note 7 when it launched and reluctantly gave it back, now I'm considering upgrading or waiting for the note 8 in August. I spoke with my network and got a pretty good deal on the s8+, but my concern is this, The Note is bound to be better and it should be a similar size to the +, just with an s pen, which I loved on the note. Also, the note 7 had quite a lot more features over the s7/s7+, which could mean it will be a much better phone.

Issue is, every day after the s8 launches, its more and more worthwhile to wait for the note instead of getting the s8/s8+, but I'm not sure if my phone will survive till then, or if it just makes me nuts at some point till August to the point where I can have any more of it.
