Which triple monitor stand is good?

Go to solution Solved by shadowbyte,

they both seem solid, but have different mounting methods

the first one sort of sits on your desk, taking up a lot of space, but probably being more stable

the second seems to clamp onto your desk edge, which takes up (practically) no desk space, but is less stable

It's a tradeoff between practicality and security

if it was my setup, I'd go for practicality, because the more desk space, the better

I use a clamp arm and I've had no problems with stability, just make sure you're within the recommended weight limits

I want all the three monitors in one line and the stand you recommend, I think it can only support in the way as shown on the product page.

Mount-it makes good trees that bolt to the desk if you want to go that route.

I would go with option 2.

Yes, the one in the link only supports the pyramid style of arrangement.  We do also make triple monitor stands that hold all three 27" monitors in line (although they're temporarily out of stock).  Since you're using two different brands of monitors though, you may want to use a stand that allows individual height adjustment for each monitor, since they may not line up perfectly on a simple straight arm.
