Mouse for school+gaming

TheGhzGuy

Oh look! Another one of these threads!

So, I'm looking to get a gaming laptop within the next month or so, that way I can play with my friends away from home (Well no kidding but you get the idea) I will also use said laptop for school along with said mouse. I play Overwatch for the most part and have a palm/hybrid palm grip. I would prefer wireless but I could probably get used to having a wire. Anyway, I'd really prefer this mouse to be under 40 dollars, unless of course there's some massive jump in build quality. (Keep in mind, this mouse will have to endure 3 hours of bus ride 5 days a week, so it'll go through a lot) My current daily driver mice are a Logitech M170 and a Mionix Naos 7000 (Which stays at home)

Thank you!

I have one, I think its a little too heavy for fps, but its solid for productivity

yeah for overwatch g402 is definitely better

I'll be sure to compare both of them. I'm not exactly a super serious (or good) Overwatch player. Thanks for your feedback on the G402! Have any of you had expirience with the G300S?

So basically, G402, G602, G300s, and a friend mentioned the Corsair Harpoon. Which I know nothing about.

I had before, it's a really light mouse

Comes with custom light (10 or so)

Then it's probably similar to my Naos in weight

Maybe. I got a g402 and used 300s awhile now I can't stand the lightness of g300s. Though you can change profile (up to 3) have custom light though thr base of the mouse is blue. I like g402 for the awesome thumb buttons

Ahh, yeah, I'm used to a crazy light mouse, so I guess I'd be fine with it. But it's good to know that the G402's buttons are useful. (Would be nice to have more buttons than the Naos)

Its not like lightweight is a disadvantage.

Though in your case i would advise against the G402 and rather recommend the G203, obv it doesnt have many buttons, but transitioning to it should be a lot easier.

Issue with the G203 is that it costs only 3 dollars less than the G402. The G302, though, that's 28 on Amazon

Dont see the issue, if it is about bang per buck, the G402 has more "tech", while the G302 has newer "tech". Regardless i would rather choose on what makes sense in terms of performing ingame.

It was my impression the the G203 was meant to be the cheapest one in the line while the G302 and G402 were more in the mid and mid upper range. I think they'll all play exactly the same for the most part, it was just the price is a bit weird to me.
