460X front panel on 400C?

I have a Corsair 400C case and I'm wondering if the front panel from the 460X would fit on it if I were to buy it separately? Does anyone have a 460X that could tell me how exactly it is mounted to the front of the case? From what I can tell from images online it looks to be the same dimensions.

Front panel mounts with thumb screws going through the glass on the 460x, the 400c simply is a pull away front panel

They are not interchangable

Yes you can, after having this thought myself and after extensive studying of the 400c if you remove the front panel our case actually has the holes for the thumbscrews pre-threaded into the front! Seems to be the exact same shell

You've tried this? @TVwazhere seems to think they're incompatible. I'd hate to order a front panel and then not be able to use it...
