OC settings not longer stable?

Go to solution Solved by Enderman,

Try loading optimized defaults and then resetting your OC values manually rather than loading the profile.

i have msi z97 guard pro with i5 4690k

4.5ghz profile - 1.28v(core) 255w(turbo Boost Short Power MAx) 105w(turbo boost power max) 256A(processor current limit) 1.24v(cache V) nothing else touched. 8hr stress tested and stable.

ive had, and been using stable OC for 3days now. i attempted to push for 4.6 because im still under 1.3v but after i tried and struck out. i tried to reload my 4.5ghz profile but it wont work and ive tried even giving it 1.3v but its still unstable and crashes after 2m in stress test.

just cant figure out why my profile wont work anymore.... any one have any ideas??

Most likely you didn't load the 4.5Ghz profile correctly.

check that all the settings are as you left them.

ok so i set every settings one at a time before i changing the multipliers to 45. so far so good.had to restart for some settings but they did not all work. some did however. seems stable so far. 10m and max temps 67c. seems odd was maxing at 72c before. anywhoo my system is 4.5ghz at 1.280v, is this good? i tried 1.275 and was stable for 4hr stress test however my pc crashed playing mafia 3 after about 6hrs and then immediately after running it again. bumped to 1.280 and was good. ive read others are getting 4.5ghz at 1.225-1.25v and cooler temps. mine seem a bit high. im new to OCing, never cared for it before, also using intel extreme tuning utility. easiest way ive found
