Hey guys, apparently, my bedroom is being remodeled and I would like to know if there's some free software where I could recreate my bedroom in 3D and add furniture to it. It must be free and easy to use :P

Google Sketchup maybe?

you could always, get some paper and draw everything out?

It's not Google Sketchup anymore, but I can still vouch for using that program for this.

I have been using Sketchup for the last two weeks for this exact purpose. The 3D warehouse with many models of desk, monitors, etc. etc. is pretty great.

Compared to more professional 3D modeling programs it lacks some stuff, but it's a free program and for this purpose it's more than adequate.

That's an option, and I totally could, I used to good at drawing (don't draw in years) but I would rather do it on my PC :P

Ah didn't know that. I haven't used for a long time, but I knew it still existed.

you might also want to give Sweet Home 3D a try. I don't think anything you use as freeware gonna beat the ease of use of that program. You can whip up a house in atleast 10 mins, rooms, furniture and all, albeit simplistic in nature

True, it was bought by Trimble which makes professional laser scnners, GPS equipment and software to manage data from those. Its nice that they kept option to have free to use version.
