Hello guys I'm at a boarding college and LAN games here are in need!! We have run out of games to play on LAN and we need more please.

 

The games we have enjoyed :

 

Mine craft 

Borderlands 2

cube world 

LOTS OF Counter strike 1.6  ! 

spore-even though it is not lan

and many more

 

Could someone please suggest some coop or pvp games thanks!

yeah thanks guys, the best games have been coop like borderlands or cube world with the exception of counterstrike 1.6 which was so fun 

Oh and you want good co-op? Portal 2 :D

Team fortress 2 and dota 2 they are free, any unreal tournement game. Battlezone (now freeware) any command and conquer red alert (freeware) but you'll need to download a patch to get that to work on windows 7/8

Plus: any of the battlefield games, openttd, awesomenauts ( dunno if its lan)

I would definitely reccomend PayDay 2, its a great lan/co-op game

League of legends, maybe bf4 although not as a lan, more as a group, battlefield vietnam, urban terror

 

At the lan partied I host for my friends we mainly play League and urban terror.

Arma looks very fun, I have always liked the games where you can drive cars and build a base and things like that perfect for LAN I should of thought of it sooner thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion we play lots of LOL but we have to use our phone data to play due to the college internet blocking the ports but that is ok since each game only uses around 15 MB until the most recent update which somehow made it so we can no longer play using tethering on our mobile carrier 2 degrees(New Zealand) it just says cannot login in which sucks :/

Just go and see what games NODE plays... most of them are lan games
