The thing is, you should decide your CPU Before the Motherboard and not the other way around, because it will depend on the line up of the CPU like if its skylake or kaby lake, and if you want a locked CPU or unlocked CPU.

Okay great, mATX I would advise this one:

And if you want full ATX size this one:

nothing ASUS has ever worked for me properly, to be fair iv only used older stuff but still, i personaly would not go with them

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Both are excellent boards. Go with whatever pleases you and suits the needs of your build better. Take note though that one is a Z270 and one is a Z170. Although there isn't much difference you might as well go with a Z270, especially if you are going with a 7th gen CPU like the i7-7700k or i5-7600k which I recommend you do considering there is little to no price difference compared to the previous generation and you get a bit of a performance boost. MSI makes excellent products and have great customer support. People saying to go with Asus, not to go with Asus, go with this one instead, etc. are really just stating personal preference.
