Hi you

I am planning to build a Hackintosh notebook using my old Asus R505CB Notebook

Hardware specs:

CPU:i7 3537U 2.0-2.5GHz

RAM: 6GB

Nvidia 740M chip

128 GB SSD

There is no UEFI Bios from what I can tell.

I have got an iMac with OS Sierra and I am used to set up Windows and Linux PC. So I am not a complete noob concerning this.

I want to use to mix music on my DJ setup, so I don't have to use the iMac when I want to take it out.

So thats done here my problem: I have no idea how to do this properly

I was using the tonymacx86.com manuels how to do it and I got as far as making the USB stick. But if I insert it, it can't be detected by my Bios. I suppose this has something to do with not having UEFI.

Do I have to add anything or is there a tick to it. FYI I can't check the Nvidia drivers box in the USB setup. It always fails to make the USB if I select it. Is that a problem? I don't really need the Nvidia grafics, as I am not planing to do any Gaming/Video editing on it.

Can you help me or do you need more information?

Thanks for your reply

Just now, IAmLamp said:

I've never heard of a single incident that involves someone's computer to be bricked due to Hackintoshing. Source?

using other people experiences, use modded Linux if you have to use osx

This includes Windows content, games, hackintosh, etc. Also discussions regarding ways to avoid or block legitimately installed monitoring/tracking software or the like is also not allowed.
