I found a used GTX 950 for 40 bucks, should i take it

well can you use it? do you need a gpu? its not a bad deal and if you were in the market for a used gpu for that price range it would be a good deal.

if it appears to be in good condition, is faster than what you have right now, and that $40 won't be better spent elsewhere like on groceries or bills,  then why not? :D

I'd say its a pretty good deal.

We all like upgrading our PCs... Well, our wallets probably don't like it though.

Sounds like a good deal. You would be looking at around 1/3 the performance of a 1070.

A 960 is very similar in performance to a 770 but with a lower TDP. Its a pretty ok GPU

I recently had a 770 in my system (very similar to 960). I could play fallout 4 at 1080p medium settings at about 70 fps. Just make sure you have a decent cpu or your graphics card will not matter as much.
