256 GB SSD or 128 GB SSD + 500 GB HDD

I'd say getting the 256 ssd rn and then getting the hdd later.

Sorry... That's not what I meant. Which specifically would you get?

That. It's easier to add than it is to migrate to a new SSD. I just recently reformatted. Windows 10 + basic programs takes up 71GB.

A 256GB SSD is also faster than a 128GB.

Well I don't see why you can't do what I said unless its a nonupgradable laptop but that depends on how much you want to store.

If you have a gun to your head, which would you choose?

I answered your question, I personally would chose the 128gb and hdd but if you don';t need to store games and a ton of stuff then go for the 256.

256 gb ssd and get hard drive later. I only have 2 big games and windows on my 256gb ssd and it is already half full. If you plan on having more than 2 big games definitely get a 256gb

480gb ssd +2TB lol it's what I did.

But between the 2, a single ssd without bulk storage at those capacities is too little.

Please answer the question I asked. Which of the only two given options would you get?
