Any laptop with a i7-6700hq and a 1050ti?

I've been looking for a laptop that has an i7-6700hq since the kaby lake version runs a little bit hotter than the sky lake, but I can't seem to find this config with a 1050ti. They all come with i7-7700hq so does anyone know any laptop that has the skylake version but a 1050ti?

Probably none, the 7700hq came out before the 1050ti, a manufacturer won't make a laptop with a 1050ti in 2017 using 2015 tech. Get one with a 7700hq or get something without a 1050ti

Ugh, I would be happy with a 7700hq but everyone says it runns hotter than the sky lake version :(

you will be fine, not too bad unless you max out your CPU all the time.

My post was actually inaccurate, the 7700hq actually came at the same time as laptop pascal gpus, I was confused for some reason, but not that far off. 

 

It shouldn't be an issue anyway, its a laptop, its gonna run hot, get the 7700hq and be done with it, its unlikely you will find anything, especially new.

no it doesn't it runs cooler.

 

Kabylake 7700hq is better in all ways compared to a 6700hq

Hmm that's strange. Literally just finished watching a youtube video and the guy said kaby lake runs hotter than sky lake. I also seen a couple of times people on here who have also said kaby lake runs hotter than sky lake so I don't know who to believe anymore lol

Runs hotter as you can oc it farter. You can't over clock these chips and they run cooler at stock.

A little over my budget but I guess I could give it a go. I'm just wondering why they would put the last gen cpu with a next gen card if they won't do it with a 1050ti?

yeah you would, the 1060 was available before the 1050 was, so that is entirely possible.

I'm kind of getting tired of seeing this comment pop up time and time again. Not everyone is able to have a desktop. In my case, I travel 5 times a week spending the entire day at a different place and the only viable option is a laptop :)

I am so confused now. Isn't the 1060 a 10 series card? Didn't it come out along with the 1050 and the 1050ti and so on?

yes it is, maybe they took more time to make 1060 smaller or something else...

They don't necessarily release all cards that are based on the same architecture at the exact same time. They released the 1060 some time before the 1050, it still performs better and is in the same series, its like bmw release the 525d before the m5, they still have the same body, its just for marketing and stocking purposes.
