Hosting Dedicated Servers And Playing At The Same Time

So I was wondering, is it even possible to host a server for a game and play it at the same time. So for example I want to host a Rust server , would It be cost and performance effective and to have one machine do both functions. Is it even possible? Or would I need two machines to do this. So one for play and the other to host. Thanks

depends on your pc if your running a six core or x99 i would say go for it. you might get away with an desktop quad core i7. just watch ya ram.

You can do it on the same PC.You just might not be ableto game because of a underpowerd PC.I recommend you post your PC specs here
