This will be my first time building a pc

i bought my first gaming pc from cyberpower and it was great but now it's time to upgrade it

ive upgraded my gpu and cpu

i had to get a new motherboard to be able to get a 6th or 7th generation cpu

and then new ram so it's ddr4

and a new psu

i have all my parts picked out but I'm scared for some reason something will be wrong or something won't work with another part

my build is

gpu: evga gtx 1070 sc

cpu: i7-7700

mobo: ASRock Z270 KILLER SLI/AC LGA 1151 Intel Z270 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Motherboards - Intel

ram: 16 gigs ddr4

psu: SeaSonic SSR-650RM 650W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD certified

case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro Series PH-ES614P_BK Black Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case

will this rig work together? I did do some research into the parts but no matter what I'm just nervous that something won't work or I'm getting the wrong part

probably just because it's my first time

bur if someone could look at my parts and tell me that they all work together or not that would help a lot thanks

It will work. But try going for a Ryzen R7 1700 and X370 chipset and see if it costs less.

Dude, in 4 days you get twice as many cores/threads with pretty comparable single threaded performance

just wait for Ryzen

you also get the option of overclocking as well which is easy to do for free performance, so long as you get at least a B350 AM4 board

What's your budget/country? And what's your display set up?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?
