To change the DOWNLOAD location, right click Downloads in your file browser, go to Location, and click Move, and point it to the desired location on the SSD.

I'd highly suggest moving it to the SSD, this is where the SSD will help.

 

Download the free edition of Partition Wizard: https://www.partitionwizard.com/download.html

 

Back up anything you DO have on the SSD, and tell it to clone the HDD to the SSD, fitting partitions to the new disk. It will need to reboot to its own special tool to do this, it can't do it in the OS. If your HDD has more data than the SSD can hold, back up anything large like games to a temporary location off of the HDD, or redownload them.

 

As soon as the HDD has been cloned to the SSD, go into your BIOS (Mash Delete right after turning the PC on) and changed the boot drive to the SSD. If it all goes to plan, you should boot up and see two drives, the SSD and the HDD. At this point you should be able to format the HDD and use it for storing games, etc
