Posted February 25, 2017 What do you need it for? A 1070 in SLI gives better performance but at the same time more trouble
Posted February 25, 2017 sli is not bad, also looks cooler but will be more expensive and might not work well with all setups.

Posted February 25, 2017 Two 1070s will perform better in games that support multi-GPU. Unless you only play a few games that do support that, I would recommend a 1080 to get better performance in all the other games that don't support that and also not have to deal with SLI issues. Posted February 25, 2017 For gaming, I would say just get a 1080 (Ti) If you're gonna do some crazy shite with some complex software which needs more CUDA, go for the SLI Also, depends on CPU. Using a potato CPU with either won't help 00100101 00110000 01111100 00100101 00110000
 Posted February 25, 2017 two 1070's will have better performance for games that support SLI and scale well with it. but a single 1080 will beat the 2 1070's in games that aren't optimized for SLI, and it'll be cheaper than 2x 1070's but also 2x 1070's would look cooler(imo) than a single 1080. Posted February 25, 2017 It does depend on processor and all too, if you are making a game exclusive rig the single gtx 1080 in a b250 plus the i7 7700 locked would be the best value, the sli 1070 is if you are into spending more with unlocked cpu and a motherboard that supports the sli.
