I know I have already posted, and got some ideas for cases and what not, but now im stuck between a few cases that I do like.

Yes, I can deal without a radiator, thought about that one for awhile.

I have also checked out videos, and also found some people had the same graphics card in the mini-itx case i was previously checking out

The idea is, im selling my pc for parts, so im keeping my GTX 1070 strix, M.2, and my 2 SSD's

(Newegg only, im sure I can find other places for cheaper later on when im ready)

Im planning on waiting for benchmarks, but just preparing for the R7- 1700 8C/16T 3.0Ghz/3.7Ghz turbo 65W Ryzen CPU

Main things to really know, GTX 1070 Strix (297mm) these cases support up to 310mm for the node 202, and others have little more clearance

PSU will depends on the case, so not too worried about that

Each can hold 2 SSD's no problem. Mobo will hold the M.2 so not worry about that

Each is small formfactor so portable if need-be

Fractal Node 202 - $79.99

Small, Portable, Able to fit it in tight spaces or move around with ease to other friends houses for gaming get-togethers

Sleek design, not terribly expensive

Was the case I was originally planning to get, but I wanted more insight

Since I wont be able to fit a liquid cooler in here with my GPU, the Cooler MAster GeminII M4 would be a nice 120mm fan, if not the Cryorig C7

-If i got a 120mm heatsink, i could get low profile DDR4 no problem

There are people that have been able to get the 1070 strix, and 1080 strix inside this case

BitFenix Prodigy - $84.99

120/240mm radiator support, loses harddrive bay

Could put a fan controller on it for quiet performance when not using the CPU, but wont be able to use a 240mm radiator which is fine. a 140mm rad in back, or 120 on top is fine

Can hold large GPU

Fractal Core 500 - $59.99

Can hold 120/240mm radiator, but loses the front bay if 240mm, so no fan controller

Might have a problem fitting a full-modular PSU looking at videos and reviews with a bigger graphics card

Interested in this case, but if i will have problems with the PSU interfering with the GPU, then no.

Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ITX - $64.99

Good design, bigger than other cases named here

Supports 120/240 on top, or front!!

Could have both a 240mm radiator AND a fan controller (if i choose to)

What do you guys think?

I really like the look of the Evolv case.  Larger means easier to work in and more flexibility in compatible parts.  That said, if it's going to sit on your desk maybe you want smaller?

I agree.  Having a smaller case will make it harder to build compared to the other cases, but I think it will be worth it in the end.  I mean, two 240 rads in an ITX case? come on...

I think for an ITX build, you need to consider these questions in order of importance:

1) Can your desired hardware fit inside?

2) Is cooling good without being noisy?

3) Does it look awesome?

i know what you mean. i would only need 1 radiator, but as i said before, i would not mind having a heatsink fan instead so its all in due time to think of which i would like.

1) yes

2) cooling will be quiet, i have some 120mm fans currently that are very quiet in my current case

3) the cases i have posted all look pretty good. i like them all. node 202 caught my attention quickly when i first saw it. only no radiator unless you mod the case

As a clarification, the Bitfenix can hold a 240 at the top and still keep two of it's HDD bays at the bottom  bitfenix_prodigy_clear_panel_window_guide_pc_case_mod1.jpg

TBH I'd still go with the Evolv ITX case for its looks. Then again, it doesnt come in orange :^)

im looking at GPU clearance for the bitfenix, and it supports a 300mm GPU. mines is 297 so it would be cutting really close

The phanteks case though, holds up to a 330mm card, so that gives me a lot of room to mess around with. and is the smallest (in H and L) than the others (node 202 beats in W) I may be taking the bitfenix prodigy out of this thought tbh. it is a nice case, just i dont want to rise not being able to fit my GPU in there

Especially for price, the Phanteks case wins IMO
