Here it is: What chipset works with Kaby Lake? I know Z270 works but all those boards are very expensive. Does B250 work? Or any other ones?

Thanks!

Check the socket type, if it matches with your cpu socket type, then hell yeaa you can buy that MOBO.

Anything LGA 1151.

H110, B150, H170, Z170, B250, H270, Z270 (maybe I missed one).

Keep in mind though, all starting with a 2 (the last three) will work out of the box and the first 4 might need a BIOS update. You can't do a BIOS update without a working CPU. Inform at the shop you're buying the item from what the BIOS the boards they are using (or when they got the boards) or just go for a B250 board if it has the features you need.

Any of the 200 series works out of the box. The 100 series may work with a UEFI update but it's not guaranteed it comes with it if you buy a 100 series board.
