The most general advice: As you wrote that you are moving into a small flat, it will be better to stay with the standard router assuming it provides you with the expected download/upload speeds.

Oh cool, i was thinking that the 8 lanes from the chipset will be used for internal puposes! mobo: GIGABYTE B150-HD3 DDR3 (rev. 1.0) and CPU: i3-6100

Hey all, i am planning to get a B150 chipset motherboard, look up on ark i found that it has a max 8 pci-e lanes and with skylake providing 16 lanes, so my my question was will it be okay to install a graphic card in x16 slot and a wifi card in x4 slot, will they functionn at their optimum speeds?

sorry mishmashed with the B150, i just saw the block diagram it presented that the x16 slot is handled by the processor and the x8 by the chipset, am i saying it right? http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/chipsets/business-chipsets/b150-chipset-diagram.html
