Let's get rid of Google+ (Petition)

You're not forced to use G+ in itself. You're only forced to connect it to your YT account, that's it. If I were to actively use a social network, it would be G+ since Facebook is full of shit, Myspace is dead and I have no idea what the fuck LinkedIn is.

 

I'm willing so sacrifice a little frustration to get rid of all the dumb fucks commenting on YT by exposing their real identity and preventing scam spamming.

I haven't heard anybody mention myspace since FaceBook came out (When I was in middle school) LOL

I don't use any other social media website other than Twitter. (Because FaceBook is boring)

 

EDIT : I do have a FaceBook but never use it any more. I haven't logged into it (in over 3 months)

Exactly, I don't know why people are bitching. You don't need to use G+, just link it.

Also, I actually quite like G+, it's nicer looking then Facebook and it isn't full of shit. I think Google's done a great job with it, as I was probably one of those more original users.

Google + is something I got with my gmail account.. I never asked for it.
I think it should be an opt-in.. I can't even find the opt-out by the way...

Signing petitions isn't worth it. You are still going to use the service so why should Google care, they shouldn't?

When Google+ used to be a much better social network back in its early days. Having used it though several of its UI changes i have to say that it is now terrible. I decided to stop using it completely. Since then i have create a new Gmail account, and manged to avoid using G+ until recently. I really don't like how Google attempts to force people to use it. Its really not that good. I much prefer the combination of using Twitter to follow people i find interesting (like Linus or John Green) and Facebook for keeping in touch with real life friends. Google+ attempts to combine both of these services in to on and it makes it imo a clunky mess with too high a learning curve (i'm not saying that it is hard to use, just that it requires some time to learn).
