I currently have a 250gb 750 evo and an external 3tb drive. I have 8gb DDR4. I'm seeing in Afterburner pagefile usage of 11.5gb! I've only had my PC for a few months and I'm already on 9.7tb out of ~70tb on my SSD. Is there a RAM problem? I'm never seeing stuttering in games or programs and I'm worried about my SSD health. Is this normal?

That's an F in the profile pic

It definitely sounds excessive, but it could be due to the way Windows (10, I assume?) handles the page file. Also notice that the size of the page file may not coincide with its usage: you can set a high initial value, and the file would have that size from boot, even if you are not actually "paging" that much, or at all.

I would consider asking at the OS subforum for better info :)

You can control the size of your page file or even turn it off if you so wish.

Do not turn your virtual memory off if you only have 8gb of RAM!

Games like GTA V and CoD IW will end up crashing due to insufficient memory, you can however set the numbers yourself, 5gb should be good.
