so ive been wanting a new phone for quite a while now and ive kinda decided on the samsung s7, and i was just wondering, is it worth it? ive looked at alot of cheaper options like the g4plus, and it just doesent seem like im getting as much for my money. so again is it worth it? im mostly buying it because of its great camera.

My flatmate is a day-1 S7 Edge owner. The first few months the phone worked flawlessly, now it takes him a good 20 seconds to access his contacts. Not to mention the plethora of bloatware and samsung re-branded crap.

Most of the Android users I know recommend the Nexus 5X (the ones that actually are good at phones, not the sheep)

i recommend the 6p just stay away from lg phones, the s7 edge is a great phone.

the robin for a cheap phone

6p for a premium phone

s7 edge is not recommended because s8 is coming.

I'd just wait for MWC, see what comes out there might be something you like more. The G5 Plus is actually looking quite nice, the camera should be pretty top notch and it has an aluminium build, 64B storage, etc.

Who knows what else will pop up, the mid range is always looking sweeter and sweeter.

The 5x is an absolutely horrible device and I honestly wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The only slight saving grace is the screen is on the nicer side.

I never had that kind of issue with my Note5. He must have something else slowing down his phone.
