Best budget 100$-200$ android smartphone?

Obdy

So my phone is almost dead, therefore I need a new one. I'd like to take decent photos with it and that's pretty much all. Any ideas on what to buy?

@Obdy Consider the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro or the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 (Snapdragon) [If you're okay with Chinese phones] :)

I use the Motorola Moto E (3rd Gen) and it is pretty good - it's about £150 (UK) but it does lag a bit, when trying to play resource intensive games.

Kind of off topic but how are the Vernee Apollo series?

I've had my eyes on it but never actually got intrested enough

@Obdy

The Zuk Z2 is pretty okay, 820 chip at under $200

Redmi series are also fantastic (I've got a Kenzo LinageOS Dev friend who works on the rn3p series)

So awesome stuff going on there

So the apollo lite has an very nice premium feeling to it and the fingerprint reader is one of the best i have ever used and the signal reception is pretty awsome aswell.

The cameras are pretty good but the main camera has a little weaknes in the dark. Another bummer is that the phone doesn't have dedicated softkeys so you have to use the buttons on the display.

The battery is pretty solid aswell and it reaches without an problem through the day.
