GAMING RIG PC

the 7700k is an unnecessary price hike as a lot of the tests iv seen of it dont show much in the way of real world performance differences.

7700k is newer, 200MHz faster out of the box, and is only $14 more. I think it's worth it when you can usually get them to a 5GHz overclock.

I changed the case fan, motherboard into a Z, and an RGB ram from the previous one. Before i buy this, does anyone have any suggestions or changes that you think i should make, feel free to reply below.

Theme: Blue/White

Games: Overwatch(frequently) , Starcraft, League of legends and video editing(occasionally).

I am going to recommend switching to 850 EVO over Intel 540s. ($2 cheaper, and you get an extra 10GBs of space)

I can attest to USB wireless cards being awful. I had one for a while and it was unstable, slow, and had some serious heat issues.

There's a series of Asus wireless cards that have an antenna that is attached by a like meter long wire that gives it way better reception by being away from the computer.

Not a mATX motherboard in an ATX case...it looks terrible...

Not a USB Wifi adapter as PCIe adapters are usually faster (assuming you have the internet speeds and the equipment) and more stable to use.

Well...technically a USB 2 port can handle 450Mbps which is faster than what internet speeds people have...

True,  but a PCIE is just generally better.

the larger ones are great coolers but he has chosen the smallest one for general use yes fine but it might struggle with higher temps.

Yes, because you totally won't fill a 250GB drive within 5 years and buy a new one anyways. Samsung's drives have a 5 year warranty, pretty sure you won't be able to destroy by then even if you do Samsung will replace it.

It's a 240GB drive vs 250GB drive... The 850 EVO tends to be slightly faster, has 10GBs more storage, 5 year warranty, and it's $2 cheaper. Seems logical to get it.
