Pc problem :P

Hello , any one know how to fix or a reason behind why my background randomly goes black removing all icons and the task bar but i still can access programs that are currently open by alt tabbing ? As well as that Steam and other programs randomly crash with sometimes a windows notice saying 'This program cannot be run' or other-times nothing at all and the whole screen just randomly reloads .

 

My OS is currently running on a SSD 150gb and all my other programs are on a 1TB Hybrid Hard Drive , i recently defragged to fix an IO error about a week ago which seemed to restore some stability, however other problems are now occurring . Is the Hard Drive dieing  , lacking power or overheating ? Any one know an explanation . Thanks !

 

 

Edit : As i'm making this all additionally programs on the secondary hard drive crashed and the hard drive is no longer visible on the 'This Pc' section . RIP.

Not sure how much wattage do you have?

CPU : Fx 8350 Vishera Black Edition

Cooling : h50 corsair water cooling

Power-supply : 750w Corsair Power supply

GPU : XFX R9 380 4gb

Motherboard : gigabyte ga-78lmt-usb3

Ram : 16GB

SSD : 150gb

HardDrive : 1TB Hybrid

Fans : 4 (including water cooling fan)

When the task bar disappears it usually means the Windows Explorer crashed. Run som disk health checks on the secondary drive...  Sounds like it may be defective.  In all honesty it also sounds like you could do with a clean install of Windows.

I did a clean install when i first put the SSD in 3 weeks ago or so now , probably just defective hard drive had it a few years.

Disconnect the hdd and see if the problem continues

I think its just that my GPU is greedy on power , switched  a few wires around , ill see how it goes , Thanks for the help  .
